The mission

The Head of Infrastructure sets the strategy and takes end-to-end ownership of Home Credit Philippines’ infrastructure landscape: data center, on-prem platforms, cloud environments, networking, end-user computing and the supporting infrastructure behind business-critical systems.

What you’ll own

01

Set the direction

  • Define the target architecture across compute, storage, network, end-user and hybrid cloud
  • Own capacity, lifecycle and technology-refresh strategy
  • Drive the roadmap from today’s state to the target, aligned to business growth and regulation
02

Keep it always on

  • Own uptime across data center, network, end-user computing and the telephony behind call-center operations
  • Build real-time monitoring, observability and operational dashboards
  • Design for resilience: high availability, redundancy, failover
  • Enforce incident, problem and change discipline for rapid recovery
03

Modernise, selectively

  • Modernise on-prem platforms and adopt cloud where it genuinely fits
  • Standardise, consolidate and simplify the footprint
  • Move workloads between on-prem and cloud based on cost, performance and regulation
04

Automate the run

  • Automate provisioning, patching, monitoring and recovery
  • Replace manual operations with standard builds, scripts and tooling
  • Use infrastructure-as-code and pipelines for faster, more consistent deployments
05

Be ready for growth

  • Make sure infrastructure is ready for application launches, call-center scaling, expansion and peak demand
  • Deliver the infrastructure for strategic programmes
  • Guarantee performance, scalability and integration readiness for critical platforms
06

Own the economics

  • Own total cost of ownership across on-prem and hybrid
  • Create cost transparency across compute, storage, network, licences and managed services
  • Optimise OPEX and CAPEX through capacity planning, vendor optimisation and asset lifecycle
  • Govern budget, procurement and demand
07

Protect and recover

  • Align infrastructure with BSP (the Philippine central bank), regulatory and internal IT-risk requirements
  • Own patching, vulnerability management and hardening
  • Lead business continuity and disaster recovery, including failover testing
  • Keep environments secure, auditable and controlled
08

Govern the partners

  • Own governance of managed service providers across infrastructure operations
  • Make sure service ownership is clear and SLAs and KPIs are met
  • Integrate internal teams and MSPs so there are no siloed operations
  • Actively manage vendor performance, cost and contracts
09

Build the team

  • Build a high-performing infrastructure organisation with strong run discipline
  • Keep critical roles stable — network, end-user, data center operations
  • Upskill the team in hybrid infrastructure, automation and modern operations
  • Plan succession and bench strength for key technical roles
10

Lead the big programmes

  • Data center build or migration
  • Infrastructure refresh and platform consolidation
  • Infrastructure for AI and analytics needs
